Tracetest integrations

Tracetest natively integrates with your favorite  distributed tracing and testing tools

Webhooks

Use synth monit to integrate with your favorite webhook alerting tools like Zapier, PagerDuty

What is a Webhook?

Webhooks are HTTP calls that allow two systems to communicate with each other when an event occurs.

What do Webhooks do?

Webhooks are typically used to communicate between two different applications. When an event happens on the triggering application, it serializes data about that event and sends it to a webhook URL from the application being notified. The notified system can then take an action based on the information received.

How does Tracetest work with Webhooks?

Tracetest uses webhooks as part of its synthetic monitoring system, allowing you to schedule tests or test suites to run and then notify an external system based on the result of the synthetic test run.

How do I get started using Tracetest with Webhooks?

Build a test in Tracetest, then go to the Monitor tab to create a synthetic monitor. Go to the ‘Alerts’ tab to add one or more webhooks.
